Over 200lbs lost!!! 105 since surgery.

Well, I wasn't sure if I was going to hit this milestone in 2014 but my body surprised me when I got back from vacation and here I am! 

I am giddy and euphoric and I went on an uncharacteristic shopping spree (I usually stick to Goodwill). I'm an XL or L at Old Navy and an 18 in pants. I could shop in the non-plus size section of Marshalls for sweaters. As a special treat, I bought my first new underwear since surgery. They were so baggy it was ludicrous! WOW! I just never thought I'd get here, and here I am just 5 months out of surgery. I'm so excited for 2015. I am confident it's going to be an amazing year. 

Good habits are contagious. My husband, who hasn't had surgery, did a perfect job of eating low carb throughout the holidays. He broke through a stall and has lost a total of 67lbs himself! He finally bought new jeans and his waist size is now six inches smaller. 

Thank you to everyone here for all your support. I definitely wouldn't have had surgery without reading everyone's experience.

Thank you thank you! We were so good over the holidays. I ate one meal off plan at Thanksgiving, Christmas by contrast was a breeze!
