Style Encore (Store that buys old clothing)

Are any of you familiar with Style Encore? They are the sister store to Platos Closest. They will buy clothing, shoes & accessories that are in good condition. They buy and sell anything from a size 2 to 24.  They also have a great selection of clothing! I took a bunch of clothing in last night and I walked out with $90. Thank you very much! The clothing that they didn’t buy went to the Salvation Army. I felt like I was still doing something good by donating. I have never been a thrift shop girl, except for donating. I think I found my go to spot until I get to goal weight. In addition to selling my old clothing, I left the store with two pairs of pants & one pair of jeans!

Ohhh you have all the good fashion tips. Just looked up this store and there's one relatively close to me so I'll stop by. Used to love love LOVE Plato's Closet when I lived in another city, but the nearest one is now hours away. Bummer.

I went back today and took my time and looked around! I walked out with two new J. Crew sweaters and a brand spanking new northface fleece. I dont usually like shopping at stores like Marshalls or TJ Maxx where you have to go thru every tack. Style Encore is set up with the racks & today was worth me taking my time! I can't wait to wear my new sweater tomorrow! Lol!

OMG.I mean O...M...G.

Was running errands yesterday and stopped by Style Encore. Heaven. Heav-en! Got a swheet pair of slimming pants and a little black dress by Calvin Klein. Wished I'd brought in my old things to sell, but haven't sorted through the closet yet.

But THANK YOU for the great tip. Hope to go back next weekend.

never heard of them but there are many places like that around here and good will sometimes has some great cloths

I have got some nice designer(I know they might be knock offs but some look real)bags for $6.00 from thrift shops only thing I can find there are pants that fit right I always have problems with pants  

I have major problems with pants/Jeans too! I have a smaller waist and carry most of my weight in my legs and backside! I have seriously tried on 40 pairs of jeans on in one day looking for new jeans! 

That is awesome! Too bad there isn't one here. I've usually done pretty good taking clothing to consignment shops, but in all honestly Im happy just to get rid of them to a local goodwill. Hopefully they can help someone with a job or money there. :)

I just took all my old fancy and bridesmaid dresses to a consignment shop! Like you I feel good about donating as well!
