Happy, happy, happy
I'm 1.5 weeks out from surgery and no more Metformin for me (at least for now). My glucose reading has been under 100 since surgery. Anyone else get within normal range readings right after surgery but later once food intake increase have to return to the medicine?

My husband was insulin dependent for decades. Off all diabetes medications since surgery. Since the quantity of food is so greatly reduced and if you stick with the high protein and low carbs, your blood sugar will stay in the normal range after surgery. He's always under 100 now - so we consider him in remission.
