Cottage cheese mix ins?

cottage cheese is a good protein source of course, and after the first mouthful or two I get over that odd sensation of taste and texture many people have. But I wondered how I can change it up in a good for me fashion.

I used to eat it with pineapple (too fibrous at 3weeks out I would think).

I thought I'd ask if some more experienced sleepers had found yummy ways to eat it without loading up the sugar content?

For the texture thing, you might try blending it?

For flavor, you could add sugar free torani syrups.  Or protein powder like Syntrax Fuzzy Navel.

(I, personally, can't do cottage cheese.  It grosses me out.  Which is sad since my mom tells me that I loved it when I was a kid!)

I prefer savory mix-ins for cottage cheese: peanut butter or almond butter (or PB2 if nut butter is too high cal for you), salsa, salad dressing, guacamole, harissa, olive oil & pepper, soy sauce, peanut satay sauce, horseradish & dill - all sorts of good things to do with it!

I've been eating it with avocado - I should have though to spice it up with guacamole!

OMG!  I'm so glad to see all these options.  I don't like CC with sweet - I'm a savory lover. But all I ever added was tomatoes.  These ideas are great.  Thanks!

I might do a sugar free preserves or jam. :) No sugar and only 10 cals per TBSP. Right now, I have the sugar free Smuckers strawberry preserves. It's delicious!!

Savory:  Smoked salmon, tomatoes, avocado, sugar snap peas, tuna, cashews

Sweet:  Any fruit - I love blueberries and or strawberries.  Peanut butter or PB2.  Nutella is amazing for a rare, rare treat.  Stevia and cinnamon - put it over a microwaved apple and it will blow your mind.
