Weight Gain After Surgery

Hey y'all, I'm two weeks post op, I lost 14lbs in one week but this morning I got on a scale and I've gained 5lbs over the last week. Admittedly our scale is the Wii Fit Board but still, it's disheartening. My step mom who had the sleeve a year ago said she had something similar happen. Anyways, I'm still bummed so I was wondering if anyone has had something like that happen? I haven't been sneaking cookies or cakes or anything but it's a bummer.

It can happen. Water retention, lack of bowel movements, weighing at a different time of day, etc. can cause fluctuations. Just stick to your program and it will work! You lost a whole lot in a week, you body will need time to adjust here and there so no worries!

Get a reliable scale!  You will want one whether you weigh daily, weekly, or monthly!
