Plus, it is made from hooves and such.

There are a couple of protein shots out there that are 100% whey protein. The "Yes Whey" brand is one of them although I have not seen them anywhere lately.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Thanks for the info I had no idea. Right now I use vegan protein powder when I makes shakes because I don't do so well with whey/soy proteins because they upset my stomach. Well I will definitely stay away from the shots and stick to shakes until I can transition to soft & solid foods.

I dunno, I've yet to find one that doesn't taste like butt.

Also-- you're paying $4 for a shot (42g protein), about ten cents per gram, for this stuff. ($4 per serving/42g)

For whey protein powder, one two-scoop serving has 50g protein, and there are 22 servings in a $40 can. ($40 can / 22 servings = $1.82 per serving. $1.82 per serving / 50g protein = $0.036)

Three times as much for protein of questionable quality.

Before people posted why drinking these are a horrible idea for post up. My original thinking wasn't behind the amount of protein cost it was at th level of reaching your protein goal and not having to drink as many ounces. Since I've been schooled on how these are not good choices I know to not buy these once post op and will instead stick to what I know and is approved by my surgeon & NUt
