Whatcha eating today? Friday, 3/17/2017
A few years ago I was at an event and wondering why the heck so many people were wearing green! (There were around 2000 people, so it was pretty obviously green.) Oh, right.
I'm so close to spring break now. I finished my essay last night and just need to proof it today before submitting it. I was super tired when I finished and remember that I used the word pumpkin a lot. So proof reading is definitely a must. Then I'm FREE until the 26th. My big plans for break are to work ahead in my online course so I can have some breathing space. I also hope to read and watch season 2 of The Magicians! Woo!
But first, today, I get my birthday massage (TWO HOURS!!) and then I'll drive up to spend the weekend with my mom. Can't wait :)
1: protein shake
2: fish! (I've really enjoyed the tilapia I made earlier in the week.)
3: no idea since I'll be at my mom's mercy
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope nope nope!
How about you What's going on in your life this fine Friday?

Well Happy St. Patricks Day :) I just finally changed my name to O'Donnell after getting married in July. My social security card just came and it says O'Dennell. So Arg! I have to deal with this all over again. Pain in my butt!
Tonight is 17.4 -- 4th workout in the crossfit open. We have a party (workout party) on Fridays during the open. It is a repeat of the 4th workout last year. I couldn't do the Rx version of the workout last year and had to scale it. The 55 - 155 lb deadlifts to start off the workout was too heavy for me. My new Deadlift max is 215, so I know I can do it this year (it might take me some time, but I'll get it). I'm hoping to get close to my time from last year (but this year at Rx vs Scaled). I'm going to bake something with chocolate and PB2 tonight for after the workout. It should be fun :)
Food today:
B - fit frappe & coffee
L - end of my chicken pasta & broccoli (this was not a big winner)
S - yogurt parfait, latte
S (at gym @7) - protein shake & baked treat
D (late ~9) - leftover thai & salad
S - cottage cheese & berries
E - 17.4 - 13 mins as many reps as possible: 55 Deadlift (155), 55 wall balls, 55 calories row, 55 handstand push ups (maybe I'll get my first one?)
Happy St. Paddy's Day, everyone!

Day 7 within a 1/2 pound of the same weight. Oh well. I did get a great tip for taking the nasty chewable vitamins my doc recommended. I crushed them, spooned the powder onto the back of my tongue being careful not to inhale, and took a few quick sips with a straw (I take in less air with a straw, go figure). While I could still taste it
, it was SO MUCH BETTER. I was on the verge of not taking them, I hate them so much.
B - coffee and greek yogurt
L - tuna salad and tiny bit of avocado
D - eggs
S - string cheese and protein drink
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Have an appt. with my NP today, she is writing a letter of recommendation for a scholarship to our local health club for me. Then I will drop off the application and letter today. Our health clubs around here are VERY expensive, so I am hoping I get it for a reduced monthly fee.

Dragging ass today... I clocked in at 4 am yesterday and clocked out at 858 pm. Back at it again today at 630. When I get home tonight me sweetie and I will load about 3000 pounds of scrap to haul to the recycler. We will haul 3 loads total tomorrow. We should get about $1000-1100 per load. My sweetie was able to negotiate for another 5 cents per pound in that we have so much. She rocks!
B, McDonald's morning mac. 2 sausage patties and an egg without the English muffin. Unfortunately the cheese melted to the muffin.

Dinner will be a corned beef that I lightly smoked and it has been sitting in a home brew brine and pickling spices since Sunday. The required potatoes, cabbage and carrots will be there as well.
