Had surgery Thursday

Surgery seems to have gone ok. I was much more uncomfortable than I expected the first 2 and a half days but most discomfort is gone now. I'm walking a lot and sipping almost constantly. Managed to get in almost 2 litres today. Mostly premier protien but also yogurt and applesauce and an ounce of cottage cheese.

how long do I need to sleep sitting up, or is that just a matter of personal comfort?

this is really a one day at a time thing.

I was never told to sleep sitting up, but due to some pretty rough incision pain I slept very propped up for about 2weeks. Side or stomach sleeping was too painful. Glad you are on the losers bench now. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
