For me, even a protein shake works to prevent vitamin nausea.

That is encouraging to read. I will try it

Calcium Citrate Berries & cream chews- twice a day

Mega Men Soft chew Multivitamin- twice a day

I haven't tried chews. I read so many conflicting things but my new surgeon (I am a transfer patient) seems to be like gummies, chewies, whatever just get it in. I will definitely need to re evaluate my next purchase order options. Thank you for the recommendations

If you're having stomach troubles, vitamin patches may be an option.

From what I've read on OH, these work really well for some people, but not for others. You'll want to keep on top of your blood work if you try this route.

Taking with food helps for me, but I still get a little nauseas after taking my handful of vitamins. I've been taking vitamins for a really long time, and I haven't really found one that doesn't give you that upset tummy feeling. Water helps too but since we can't eat and drink not really helpful. Food would be my first choice.

I've been taking a liquid vitamin called Epresat, produced by the company Floradix. It's vegetarian and kosher. It's basically fruit and vegetable juice concentrate. It tastes yummy, like apricot juice, with no weird "vitamin" taste. I bought this because I accidentally left my patches at the hospital, but I actually prefer it to the patches. I haven't had any labs yet, so I can't vouch for that aspect, but it seems pretty complete.

It's made in Germany, but I think you can buy it worldwide in health food stores. Here's and amazon link for it.
