***Menus & Miles*** Wednesday 4/16
Hey, all!
PB-4 oz water
B-string cheese (8 g)
S- 17 oz water w/ 1/2 protein bullet (21 g)
L-Protein Bar (15 g)
S-1-1/2 pieces beef jerky (3 g) & 4 oz water
D-spaghetti sauce w/hamburger and mozzarella (15 g) and a little salad
S-17 oz water or Crystal Lite
Protein: 62 g
water: 42 oz (maybe more, if I can get it in...)
I either get the protein or the water. It is so hard to get both!
At this point, I'm counting the fact that I'm on my feet all day teaching and walking back and forth across campus a few times a day as my exercise! I know I need to start something more structured, but right now, I really feel like I'd be pushing myself too far. Getting back to work this week has been exhausting. I've never been a weenie about stuff, and I tend to recover from surgeries quickly, so going back at 2 weeks seemed fine to me. Well, I'm sure it will all work out, but right now, I can't wait for the weekend to sleep a little extra! Mentally, I'm revving up for getting the exercise "routine" started next week (assuming I don't feel like a Mac truck hit me like this week!)...I feel like I spend so much time trying to sort out my vitamins and water and protein that I just can't add one more thing yet. I have to keep reminding myself that it has only been 2-1/2 weeks. I'll get there, I'm sure....
...but, to answer your question, no, not yet....BUT, it is coming...SOON!

No exercise- made an appt with my ortho......Knee is worse. can't even put any pressure on it, so I am hobbling along.
