I'm Alive and doing well!!

Hey everyone I know its been a while since I posted. I've been MIA since my surgery but I just wanted to let everyone know that I am "Alive and feeling great"!!! Having the hysterectomy was the best thing ever! Besides my WLS of course. It went without a hitch everything went beautiful. I did have to stay 2 days in the hospital though not  because of any complications just because my doctor wanted to make sure my vitals and blood sugar levels where ok. Which to my amazement my blood sugar levels were below 100 everytime and my blood pressure was down back to normal I think the highest was like 114/75 which it hasn't been like that in a very long time. The nurses and dr were totally shocked at how fast I was recovering. I feel so good and content with this surgery. I finally feel like I'm back to my old self and its also nice to know that I won't be having a period anymore! Yippie.  I had no bleeding was so ever right after the surgery but within the last few days I've had some bleeding nothing major but seems to me that I maybe pushing it a little because I haven't been off my feet like Dr. said. I started to drive the following day so.....maybe I am pushing it alittle but I feel great! Sorry its taken me so long to get on and post but time flies and I'll be off for atleast another 4 weeks. Don't know if I can make it. Kids will be off on friday for xmas vacation so that is going to be nice. Thanks everyone for caring and wishing me the best. You guys are great!

Great to hear from you girl, we have been worried!  I'm glad your happy Liz, I know I sure was after mine!  I felt great too!   Dont over do it and enjoy your holiday!

I'm sorry just haven't really had the time to get on the internet lately. Its crazy how time flies its like the day goes by in a blink of an eye.  I'll try not to over do it. Its gonna be hard but I need to relax and take it easy.

I am so relieved to hear from you. I figured you were probably just busy but then my imagination would run away with it's self. Sounds like you are doing superfantasatic. Don't push too hard and enjoy the holidays.

Im sorry I saw the messages this evening first time I've been on since surgery and figured I NEED to make time and post. Because my girls are flippen out. You guys are great bunch of ladies and appreciate how much you care.

I am so glad you posted we were are concerned about you since it is just not normal for you to go so long without posting.  I am so glad to hear that everything went well and your doing so much better.

I knew I had to post soon. That was out of the norm I always lurk I don't know why I didn't post the next day after I got out of the hospital. I think I had planned to but just ended up having to run errands and make appts for the kids. Its funny but its like I got a second wind. A burst of energy the same as wls. I feel really really good and can't believe how much better my body feels.

 Hi Liz,

Good to know you are out and about and feeling great.  But I knew you were doing good, cause like you said you don't stay down for long, so I knew you were already out shopping or something.
