Mini-Me!!! you look GREAT!!!!  You can gain weight and no one will notice, EXCEPT yourself... Dont be so hard on yourself, YOU LOOK GREAT!!!! One day, my scale will hopefully show the numbers you have... hell.... even if it' shows 20 lbs heavier, and I never lose an additional pound, I would be HAPPY!!!

I have heard of the procedure, don't know about the results.  My own observation is that any of the proceedures will do well for you, iffff you follow the rules, not always easy.  I'd have done a VSG if my insurance wouldhave paid for it.

Hi there,

I've had a VSG and absolutely love it.  If you have any specific questions, I would be glad to help.

Good luck with whatever decision you make!

Hi Rachel!  I'm not around much any more, but this Lightweight Bandster would also go VSG had she known then what she does now!!  I've had no real problems with my band other than a flipped port and made way below my goal weight in 2 years time BUT I know that in say 3 or 5 or 10 years, healthy and WLS long a thing of the past in my mind, this band could jump up and bite me in the butt with a slip, erosion, tubing issue, Etc...  I really didn't think about the fact that I'll have this band in here for probably 70 years....thats a lot of years to avoid an issue!

Hi Kari... Thanks for the info, I welcome all comments, and especially since you are a bandster already, who would do the VSG.  My initial choice for Lapband is because it's minimally invasive, and can be reversed.  But I am still trying to decide, and I am lookin more and more into the VSG.  But my surgeons office have not returned my call, since I called them a yesterday and inquired on changing my decision from Lapband to VSG... waitng to hear from them to advise what changes IF any an be made at this point.
