I think I have had my first NSV

 What about some sort of beach coverup?  Or a pair of yoga type pants that have a drawstring that you can undo and roll down over your stomach while in the car, then hike up just to get out of the car?   You'll never see those people again anyways!  :)   

 you will be surprised how much you don't pee anymore after surgery.

You are so right about your robe being the  last 1X  clothing you buy.  I am so excited for you!!!!!  I probably wouldn't even take the tags off of them just in case you don't even get to wear them.  You might end up just wearing the hospital gown and robe they give you.

I just wore pull up dress pants and a shirt to and then home from the hospital.  The incisions were so small my pants really didn't rub on them.  3 hours is a long ride so just wear something comfortable.
