My new NSV
congratulations! that is the coolest feeling in the world
I work in purchasing and when some vendors come in that I haven't met with for a while I like to mess with them. Sometimes they ignore me and wait politely for that other me or just stare and wonder what's different (and they are afraid to ask if it's your weight for some reason). Depending on the day it can be great fun or a little uncomfortable. Embrace the fun, and again, congratulations

My co-workers might not recognize me a year from now... but my family, whom I've not seen in 12 years won't think anything is different at all! ROFL! And, that's just fine... they do not have to know about my struggles since they would never understand anyway. :-P
When you go to your photos, you click upload and select where the file is located on your computer. It's pretty much that simple. Be brave!! We all await eagerly to see the new you! :-))

Ruth,
I get what you're saying about family. I went to IKEA with my mom, who said absolutely nothing about how I looked. I finally asked her outright what she thought about the weight loss. I mean it's not as if 60 pounds is a drop in the bucket! As for the photos, I'll at least upload to my profile page if I can't figure out how to get it into a message. :)

Oh wait. Those simplistic instructions a couple of posts up WERE for posting on your profile. dah!
If I remember correctly, post to your profile, then pull up the picture, click on the URL field at the top of your browser, copy that link.
Go to Manage Avatar and put in the link as the new image you want. Click ok.
Then duck and run...
