I am so excited for you!  I see you are in Marysville.....I have family there. I'm just over in Spokane.

I am only 9 weeks out tomorrow and I remember that before I started my pre-op diet the fat in my belly was hard as a rock. I told myself it must be hard because there was lots of muscle just under it.  HA!!

Amy,
you're doing awesome!  Start saving the $$$ from your food savings for PS, although at your age, hopefully not needed.

I'm experiencing the jigglies now too and it's yucky, but not as yucky as if the fat were still there.

Yep - totally normal.  The "wiggly jiggly"mess will turn into just loose skin (for the most part).  Like Gina said - wait for the redistribution.

I've had a tummy tuck and a breast lift/augmentation... Now, my legs looked like melted candles.  BUT - I have had a little "bounce back".  While I'm not happy my clothes are a bit tighter now, my legs don't look nearly as bad as before.

Give it some time

There was a stage show a couple years ago called "Puppetry of the {male member - not writing it out because of censoring issues}."

When I went in for the consult with the reconstructive guys, I showed them that I could do "Puppetry of the Pannus" instead.

They got a kick out of it.

Cardio and weights help some; keeping your skin healthy via hydration helps some; compression/spanx helps some; redistribution helps some. Hang in there - and it will improve!

OK ..just for the record . I went through this .. and as a lifelong apple shape OF COURSE i thought it was permanent lol !

I have a lifetime of experience getting nothing but the WORST from my midsection ....

BUTTT

2 years out

THINGS CHANGE RADICALLY

( mind U I havent done ANY significant exercise other than gardening for a year ..not by choice really but because life especially work is so madly hectic ) ... frankly I think Ive also ENJOYED not seeing the scale jump UPWARDS the SECOND i stopped running lol for the first time in my life ....

so given that ( and I havent done a single situp Im ashamed to say in a year ) .. through redistribution ALONE ...

I have ALMOST a six pack

I am FIGHTING to hold onto a littl e flab so i can have a mini TT on May 31 st ... paid for by insurance ( which I want but dont really NEED at all quiet as its kept )

Frankly .. I could wear those eighties big shouldered crop tops with the belly hanging out pre - op I DREAMED ofwearing in the ( nineties when I saw the movie flashdance was it ? and a few others lol ) .... no problem.

It CONSTANTLY amazes me !!

So YES hang on GRRLS .. it DOES redistribute REALLY !!!!! Thank God

BTW I can wear tiny things i couldnt DREAM of wearing last year or the year before now COMFORTABLY too .... so God IS good .....

my other REALLY BAD parts were my upper arms ( oh I had to HIDE in cardigans or be MORTIFIED embarassed even in the hottest weather ) and my back fat /upper torso situation . Both of THESE are surprisingly well resolved also ..

which again shocks me because I am not really a " Thin" weight for me . I am " healthy " and " lean " but not " thin" right now . Yet .... my arms are defined and ( dare I say ---- even sexy looking in a tank top ....) my back fat and underarm fat is pretty minor .... . The very WORST part is the bra overhang /underarm excess skin which does not look like a nineteen year olds .

Considering I lost 100 lbs .. having this last noticeable problem area aint BAD . And the posture is improving every day that I manage to take my calcium citrate and eat some kale ....

Major Mom  what was UR experience with this and how did U  tighten it up ?    I have always been so envious  of Ur HOT  HOT core  beautiful  Lady .... and also  great arm definition ,  legs , posture etc.

Mind U skeptics ..  I don't think  Ms.  Gina is  nineteen.... she may have the hot  Bod  ....  but  her brain's far more wise and experienced sounding  ... at least to me

Would U please  be so kind and share Ur experience  with redistribution with  us Ms. Gina ?

wiggley jiggley belly.........lol  My DD Halle thinks it's funny to motorboat my belly....lol  I can tell she is amazed at how "soft" it feels on her cheeks....I hate it but it doesn't look any worse than any other mother of 2.  I have noticed recently that my boobs have filled back out a little which makes me very happy.....they still fall out of any bra that has a plunge and I look like I have a unaboob....lol  I do know it gets worse before it gets better and shapewear is a wonderful thing!
