I hear you, Ava.  I tried on a pair of size  14 jeans that I've had forever, and they are too tight.  At one time in my adult life I weight 128, and I wore a size 9, so I know about the vanity sizing.  But, it's okay, if vanity sizing is what gives me more clothing options I'll take it.
