Do you feel blah when you get off track?
Sat was my daughters baby shower. I was up at 5AM and on the go all day long. My fluid intake was horrible. My eating was all off track..... didnt get in all my protein shakes, and didnt get enough protein in via food either + I had "junk" that my body isnt use to eating...... 1/2 cookie, a few bites of cake, ect.
Sunday we had a busy crazy day and again my eating was off track. Well boy am I feeling it. I feel like crap! Just feeling blah..... sorta like I did back in my pre op days when I overloaded my body with massive amounts of junk food...... only 10x worse.
Its back on track for me today. I had 2 protein coffees so far. I have hard boil eggs on cooking. And Im eyeing up my last greek yogurt in the fridge.
So Im wondering, does YOUR body tell you "Ive had enough! " when you get off track? Cindy

Absolutely! I can tell when I've had a bad day of eating - not only crap food, but if I've eaten just too much food in general.
I get a bit of "intestinal distress" when I've been bad. Today I was trying to figure out what I ate yesterday that would do that - not really sure as my eating was pretty good, but it was probably the baked beans. Just something my body's not used to. Also when we pump those mindless carbs into it, I do think we process them differently now and they bother us now in a different way (not just the guilt of eating them...)

Other than eating crap and feeling blah, how was the shower? Can't wait for pictures of the new little one!!!!
I think part of it is that we feel healthy (both mentally and physically) when we are eating right and making good choices so our bodies react when we stray away from those patterns. My pouch is very touchy when I have to much bad fat, carbs, and sweets and I can be miserable a few hours and even days when I make bad choices. Even at 2.5 years out....I LOVE MY TOOL!!!

Roz, the shower was great! She got soooo much stuff thats going to help her out. We are truly blessed with an amazing family and friends.
