Got to find time for me

Well I am guilty of losing myself again! I haven't exercised in about 4 weeks. NOT EATING the best in the world. I have kept a lump in my throat so stuff isn't going down real well. An emotional basket case has left my FIBRO FLAIRING! I have been recovering from shoulder surgery too. My grandma had a bad fall. For the 1st week after grandma fell we stayed with her 24 hours a day. My mom and I took turns. Now she has been moved to a rehab facility. Mom and I are taking turns spending the day with her. Mom has been working the last 3 days. I am a teacher out for the summer so I have been with Grandma. She cannot feed herself or anything right now so we are her everything. The people at rehab had to be set straight in the beginning but seem to realize we will settle for nothing but the best for Grandma. My kids have been extremely busy as well. Between running them and taking care of everbody else I am feeling lost in the shuffle. My house needs cleaning and my life feels in shambles. My hubby started a new position today too. He has been really nervous about that. I am ready to scream. I shall reclaim myself soon I have about reached the end of my rope. My son left on a church retreat today.  I had a grab and go breakfast again this am and my pouch is hating it right now. We leave on vacation in a little over a week. I have to go shopping to find some shorts. Capris will not cut it in Florida! So much to do so little time to get it all done. Right now I feel the need to BREATHE! Hope everyone has a great day. I am going to take one minute, one hour, one day at a time.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Wow Danielle - you do need to take care of yourself.

There was a good protein muffin recipe someone posted that could be made up and just a grab and go.  It was a microwave in a cup with flaxmeal.  Was actually pretty good.

I know its hard when there is only so much time in a day and so much to do.  I realize too because you aren't working at the moment, everyone thinks you've got more time than they to do these things.

Hugs to you - hang in there.  You know God doesn't give us more to endure than we can take.

Muffin
1/4c ground flax
1/4t baking powder
1 pk splenda
1/2t cinnamon
1 egg

Mix up the dry stuff well in a coffee mug, add the egg and mix.  Nuke for 1 min.  Turn out on a plate.

I have added 1/4c blueberries before and some SF syurp.  I don't think you can mess it up.  I love it with cream cheese and SF jam.

Thanks Price!  I have NO idea where I put my recipe.  I may make up a few of these for the weekend.

I wanted to try adding some cream cheese to one to see if it make it a creamier texture without falling apart.

Or how about some SF applesauce?

I would just be careful about how much liquid, ie the applesauce.  I have read about adding chunks of cream cheese but haven't tried that.  I think the receipe originally said to let it sit a while if it seemed wet.
