YEAH for YOU!!!!  

I'm going to decarb this week too!!!   I've let it get out of control.  I don't sit and eat carbs but I take a bite hear and there and it is showing up on the scales.  I don't know when I started doing this but I know it is getting out of hand!!!

Where do I find this 5 day pouch test?  I've never reason before to need it.

I almost forgot....good Menu!

I am addicted to carbs/sugar. I know this. I believe I am going to have to address it just like I would if it was drugs,alcohol,or cigs. One is too many a thousand is not enough.

I believe I am going to have to totally abstain from them,not just till goal,but the rest of my life. It was nice to think I could eat a "little" and be satisfied. I can't; not pre surgery and not post surgery. I just can't ,I am NOT normal like so many people hope/wish/fool themselves into thinking they are.

So,today is day two on the wagon for me. I have been successful so far today and expect to be successful the rest of the day.

Looking at the situation as a TRUE addiction has opened my eyes a little. I don't want to be a slave to any thing,even food,which maay not make me endanger someone or steal to buy it or drive under the influence of it and maybe hurt someone,but it is hurting me.

It is like DH said;I am dieting just like I was presurgery,do good a while,fall off aand eat something off program;obsess and worry until I get it back off. Then repeat. He is SOOOOO right and I don't want to live that way anymore....

Basically,day 1&2 full or clear liqs including protein shakes
Day 3 soft protein cottage cheese,eggs,tuna salad
Day 4 more firm protein fish,ground meat etc
Day 5 dense protein chic,steak etc/
