Thanks everyone!  I'm feeling much better since I got home.  Mostly it's the gas and incisions.  I'm tired already, of course, of being uncomfortable. At least everything is getting better a little at a time.  My mom is here helping me and has been a real godsend.  She's been blending up the soups, jellos, and protein shakes and has made sure I take my 1-2 oz every 20 minutes.  It's been interesting to note that sometimes I can drink the whole 2 ounces and want more in 20 minutes and sometimes it's a struggle to get it down and I don't want any more the next dose.  I'm listening to my body (or trying to!).

I know everyone has been told this many times, but I'm so grateful for all of the information and support received here.  My NUT especially is terribly confusing and her handout sucks royally.  I got several other post surgery instruction sheets from you guys on here and they have been wonderful.

Keep up the good work!

Ramie
