The last 20 pounds took me almost 6 months to lose. All I could do was just keep doing what I was doing...low carb, high protein and lots of protein shakes. And, lots of walking.

Gypsy, I am in your shoes...I have 10-15 left to go...same amount of time as as frustrated as I get, I am still losing VERY SLOWLY...Last month I weighed 143 to 145 in the week between my 6 month mark (was not able to weigh on my date). Yesterday morning, I weighed 140. So it is down but I have been between 138-145 ALL MONTH. And then this morning I was back up again...aaarrrgggg.
Now, I did also lose 2 more inches this month. Only one month so far I haven't lost inches...
Did you measure pre-op so you know how much you've lost there...not everyone loses weight every month but will lose inches.
Plus as Gina said, we slow down considerably when we get close...you and I are very close.

Hello Southernlady...Thank you for your message and imput...Isnt this frustrating? I must admit I am working on it...these last 20lbs are a real challenge....I wont give in tho!!! we are both experiencing it...I have lost inches without pounds and there has been some change..small changes...today Im up a lb or two...figuring it could be water gain? Guess we just have to hang tough as Gina Said...Thanks again...
Certainly can't say I have been dropping it quickly lately. 3 lbs a month has been happening my last few months. And during that has been considerable bouncing up and down.
I'm doing 100-140g of protein a day, 30 or less of carbs, no white carbs, 86+ fluid and that is still all I am getting to leave my body. Oh well, better than gaining.
