Hi Sqerlygirl...Thanks for the imput!! Its comforting to read Im not alone with this stubborn last 20lbs...I am discouraged but wont let it beat me!!! You hang in there too...we should start a club...the last few pounds club...bet we would have lots of members sharing our frustration...thanks again!!!
These last pounds make some of us work really hard to prove how badly we want them gone. Pesky little pounds. It took me from March to August to get these last 10 pounds off. Now that they're gone, I'm working on the next 10 with a target of December. I have to really keep my protein up and my carbs down and throw in a good dose of exercise 5-7 times a week.
I hope yours are not as stubborn!! But the only thing that matters is knowing that eventually they will come off if you keep working at it. I'm a very slow loser and it took me 18 months to get to goal, but I got here and that's all that matters to me. There's such a sense of pride in hitting that number that you've been hoping for. Keep up the good work. 90 pounds is awesome!!

Hi Gypsy, It's really possible to get them off, it just takes a lot of patience. When I realized I really wouldn't change much, even if I called Goal early, it made sense to keep up with protein first, hydrate, exercise, vitamins etc. What I did differently was go back to meticulous tracking of every bite and make sure that my carbs are within a range that helps me shed the pounds. Seeing the reward on the scale is generally more satisifying than the moment of party in my mouth.
You can to it! i just know you can. :)

Don't take this the wrong way....if you are doing high protein and low carbs and it's taking you awhile to get it off...then I'm happy because the chances of you keeping it off are good! Some get to goal so easily that they start falling into bad habits and they are going to struggle when they finally get to maintenance.
