Can't eat OR drink!

Has anyone had an ulcer in  the stomach that was left?  I have constant pain in the upper left quadrant that is worse when I eat or drink anything.Had my gallbladder out 7/3 (RNY was 6/2). Had some adhesion fixed on 8/7 and a hollow where the intestines had moved to. Pain is not letting up, it's getting worse. I am now on protonix & carafate, but doesn't seem to make a difference. If  protonix doesn't work by 9/21 Dr. Hill said he will have to go into the remnant stomach to see if there are any ulcers. He can tell me a 100 ideas of what it's not, he just can't tell me what it is. He also said that I am the 4th person out of thousands of his patients that has these problems. I'v had Ct scans, ex-rays, Upper GI, ultrasound, & exploratory surgery. It's gettin pretty frustrating!

I hope that the doctor can get to the bottom of this.  A big group hug to give you comfort

Thanks Price & Eliza. I'm just getting frustrated. I't so discouraging to have a constant stomach ache. I still dont regret having the surgery though, I just can't wait to get to the good part !

I have been having painful spells but it's only been about 1 a month.  I had my gall bladder out in March after the first one and just had a scope down and I'm ulcer free.  I'm suppose to get a scan and bloodwork done the next time I have an attack.

My heart goes out to you.  I just got diagnosed with an internal hernia, and am having the repair surgery on Monday.  It is very painful but not constant.   I would hate to feel this all of the time! Maybe you need a second opinion?

Amy, Oh my...I hope things go well for you on Monday.  We can be surgery buddies for sure! I had a hernia repaired when I had my RNY and the surgeon said it was big enough to drive a truck through it!  This stricture I'm having ballooned is constant, uncomfortable, but not painful until I try to eat.  UGH!

PJ, I hope things ease up for you so you can eat and drink again.  Swinging critters for you!!!
