Thanks so much for the reviews.  Protein powders do all have the same general taste, and right now, I'm not good with the chocolate or vanilla shakes.  So I'll take your advice and skip these.

My nutrionist did recommend a homemade egg nog, which I find much more palatable, with 20 gr of protein:  2 egg beaters (one of the little cups), 1c skim milk, 1 heaping tsp stevia, couple drops of rum or vanilla extract to taste.

Today, I'm trying my Mom's old fashioned egg custard.  I'll tell you how it comes out.

yeah I  don't know if anyone else  is like me but i GAIN   from protein powders that have more than 90  calories a scoop  .  Like MAD  .   maybe i have an unusual  body type  ...  because it seems i  crave  fatfree high fiber  carbs  and need to eat them  every few hours or i get hypoglycemic ... but  I dont gain from that diet either  .

Im sure there are other people  our here like me  though ....  who are probably  going  how come  the low carb  lifestyle  doesn't work  4 me ?  For me its just TOO EXTREME  .

I can't THINK   when i dont eat carbs and I certainly cant exercise ....but eating my garden  REALLY WORKS   !    AS  does  sticking quasi -religiously  to fat free  , high fiber and  sugar free  and trying to eat non processed foods .

For me  .. Isopure products  REALLY  work well  - I love the banana  flavor  as  my  coffee  and chai tea creamer  and  cookies and cream isnt a bad alternative either  .     There  WAS  an eggnog flavor seasonal  vegetarisn  rice -soy -protein  shake powder that tasted SLAMMING  too  but im not sure how much of it got absorbed.   All came from GNC .
