I got the idea on here somewhere.  It is basically a protein ball with no carbs.  So you melt a tablespoon of peanut butter in the microwave and mix in a scoop of protein powder.  I use chocolate or chocolate peanut butter.  You have to add a little liquid to get it to mix up.  I use SF cocolate syurp but have also used a touch of silk unsweetened soy.  It doesn't take much so do a teaspoon at a time.  when it is all mixed up, put it in the freezer for a while.  It endes up tasting like the insides of a protein bar.  Kind of chocolate fudgy.  You can add more and it will be pudding consistancy or less and it can be like a soft cookie.

Thanks Price!  It sounds good!!  I had to quit making the flourless peanut butter cookies because I couldn't stop at just a couple.

I've been trying really hard to cut out my carbs but it is a constant battle.  They go down easier than anything else and don't take much thought to prepare.

Hi Roz & everyone!

Roz - I hope your Mom did well today. Keep us posted.

I have done horrible today. My husband and I took our 3 dogs to a low cost vaccine center (first time I have ever done that for shots - they did get spayed there) anyway it took us from 2pm to almost 5:30. I didn't eat lunch as I was working on homework and forgot to (I'm getting my Master's in Nursing), so have been behind all day with food and fluids.

So here goes:

B - sausage patty, egg
L - nothing
D - homemade spagetti sauce with lots of meat about 2/3 cup
S - skim milk & Bryers carb smart bar

I am going to try & get in protein drink tonight before I go to bed. Will do better tomorrow. I am glad that the few days before I have had over 100 in protein, so hopefully I will be OK.

Totals today: calories: 714; carbs: 44 and protein - 36!!!
