I'm sorry I've not been around for a couple weeks. I started selling Mary Kay and on top of my "real" job I've been overwhelmed.
And I think I'm depressed. I think I need to see about getting some counseling. I just get so sad about food. Plus it's my TOM. That NEVER helps!!
ANYWAY
My weight is going well.....I think. The 22nd of August was my 2 month surgiversary. Total loss in 2 months = 32.8 (total loss including 2 week pre surgery liquid diet = 45.8)
2 Sundays ago = 199.4
last Sunday = 195
Today = 193.2
total loss this week = 1.8
total loss 2 weeks = 6.2

I am sorry you feel overwhelmed...and counseling sounds like a good idea.
But you did good in the weight department.

Amy, even minor losses add up over time.
Good for you.

Last week: 110.5 lbs
week before: 109.8 lbs
This week: 108.7 lbs
-1.8 lbs.
not sure why the weight was up last week, but for the past few days, it has dropped back down. I seem to be maintaining within a 2 lb window and weight varies from day to day based on fluids. The day to day flucutations don't bother me as much, since this is fairly normal and I seem to be staying within a two pound window.
I'll tell you, though, exercise, including weight training is key to keeping the pounds off and being able to eat. I know many people don't want to exercise, but I never read a posting that said, "I am tracking my food, staying away from simple carbs, and exercising, but I am gaining weight." I haven't seen that written. I think people regain, when they don't exercise and/or track their food. This weight issue requires us, to be always mindful and attentive to what goes into our mouths. The old behaviors are just under the surface and I have to deal with them everyday.
I've been doing this since mid-April and I know it is early, but so far, so good.
Just my 2 cents worth.
