LEFT THE HOSPITAL 8/28

I would like to say thanks again for all of your wonderful support. I left the hospital around 2:20 pm. I stopped at CVS to get some scripts and they did'nt have any so on to Safeway and they only had 1 so I called Kmart pharmacy this morning to see if they had the rest and she said yes.

I must say that last night at home was a doooooooozy!!!!! This is how I felt.... AND more. I came home and opened my door and shut it after 10 minutes. I was freeeeezing cold. I pulled out a pair of winter pj's and put them on. So, moving way forward to bed time....I started getting pains and took some of that awful liquid pain med(but it does work) and took a couples of sips of it and had some lemon water to get that taste out of my mouth.

I've been laying on both of my sides with a medium size pillow. I have been getting AWFUL neck cramps and spasms since I've been in the hospital(actually started day 2 after I woke up in the am), I could barely turn my neck from side to side.I was giving hot packs every couple of hours for the pain. Anyhoo, I was freezing,then the stomach pain went away,then it came back,I was ill,I had to change my shirt because I was WET early this morning,then cold,then my neck cramps again,put a hot pack on the cramps,then my head was getting *****ing pains on the right bottom of my cranial and then I prayed and asked God for rest. I got up,had a bm fixed my pillows and layed on my side again and slept well. Thank you Jesus for comfort. That was the most pain I have gone through since day 2 post op.

Well, I'm here resting,getting up and down the stairs slowly,making notes and charting my vitamin intake and blood pressure pills,protein and water intake.

I have'nt passed gas but I did take a gas x strip last night. I have been belching from time to time.

Oh yeah, I was dreaming about something in the hospital and realized I was vomiting. I thought I was dreaming but then I thought, what type of foolishness is going on here? I thought okay...the foamies. ewwwwww! lol

I had my foamie experience in the hospital. I felt like a hound. HA!

So glad to hear that you are home! Every day will get easier and easier, just keep on your schedule of walk, sip and rest. I found that the stairs (while tiring!) did wonds for getting rid of gas pains.

 I am so excited for you and what is in store in the coming months. I really feel like a new person and I know that you will too......From one of my favorite songs:

Welcome home! Sounds like you're going through the early processes pretty normally. We've been there, so hang on, it gets much better pretty quick.

Hello 2nd_Chance_Chick...

                 So happy to hear you are now at home...and doing reasonably well...I was terribly cold after my weight loss surgery....it went away...Just take it easy...rest and get well...Best of Luck to you as you begin your weight loss journey!!  Hang in there!!!!

 welcome home !!!   yeah sounds  pretty normal ....  lets see  what U haveto look forwrd to ..   loose stool ... DONT   panic if   U have dreams ofrunning to the bathroom and  dont make it and stain Ur pajamas ...

its all part of  the  jump starting Ur new digestive system unfortunately .   Takes a few  vroom  vroom vrooms to really get and keep going  ...
