questions i should ask my surgeon ???

ok so i am nearing my meeting with my surgeon and i have a list of questions i want to ask her but i was wondering if  maybe i am forgetting to ask her anything ???  what questions did you all ask and what ones do you feel you should have asked and didn't ??  i really want to be as prepared for this WLS as i can be and i want to be as eduated as i possibly can be too... any help would be greatly appreciated.... thanks

I actually had very few questions because we had to attend 12 support sessions before surgery and they included all the diet information, hospital information, surgery stuff in those "support" meetings which were really training sessions.  But here are a few that come to mind

1.  How often do you do labs?
2.  How will I be followed after surgery?
3.  Is the Nut a diatition?  How oftern can I access her?
4. do you follow the American Council suggestions with Vit/min?
5. How long will I be in the hospital?
6. If you haven't determined which surgery, ask about the various kinds.
7.  Ask about your co-morbidities if you have any and the chances of success in getting rid of them.
8.  Ask about their complication rate

That's a start at any rate.

thanks price ... i have my required 3 support group meetings on sept 6th and sept 13th  and i want to be as prepared with questions as i can be.. and my NUT appt is sept 20th... then i get my appt with the surgeon after that
