Sunday Weigh In
Could be very true. I have e exercised *some* but really not consistently as I should have been.
I may have become overzealous on limiting carbs so drastically since I have determined that I am addicted to them and really can't have any . I have thought that even good carbs were stopping my loss but maybe not. I have decided to play around a little with adding good carbs and see Whit happens.
Also,I took the bull by the horns today and rode 1 hr and 8 minutes, including hills,on my road bike.
Thanks for your thoughts, they hv e helped.

Holly, I am 57 years old, so I'm not a spring chicken by any means. During my weight loss, I wasn't a carb nazi and limited them to 40-60/day. The carbs came from Greek Yogurt, non-fat milk, cottage cheese, veggies, and a little fruit (towards the end). I always felt satisfied. With maintenance, I have added a little more fruit, a little high fiber cereal to my morning yogurt, but really don't eat bread, potatoes, or rice on a regular basis. Once in awhile, a little sweet potato is good, and half a Dr. Cracker Whole grain flat cracker. I stay away from simple carbs, because those are what led to my morbid obesity.
Congratulations on riding your bike!!! That is fantastic!!! I just started riding my bike about a month ago and started a Spinning class a few weeks ago. Spinning really wears me out, so I have to pace myself with that one.
I am only 4'11" so our stats are similar.

Yes,out stats are similiar and I will be 57 this year.
I used to use those same good carbs you mentioned and was able to lose just fine.
I might have to leave off the Dr. kracker type foods cause we like each other way too much, lol.
Bbut ZI am going to go back to what worked before. there is no reason it shouldn't work again.
Thanks so much.
Yep pretty proud I made myself get out on the bike lol. gonna be a regular thing too.

I don't mind exercise and have done*some*,but it has been sporadic. If I have to make it more of a regular even,I am willing to do that. I have come to far to give up now,esp over exxercise.
I have identified that I am addicted to not so healthy carbs and I may be being overzealous in my avoidance of carbs, even to the point of avoiding the more healthy ones.
I am going to try adding in a small amount of healthy ones, beans and non carby vegetables and see what that accomplishes.

I agree with the others...I had a couple of short term stalls and I would boost up my carbs and start loosing again and then gradually decrease them..my body seems to like around 60 carbs a day without any complaint..also adding exercise might shock your body into loosing weight again, and it definately can't hurt at this point!
Good luck with your couch to 5K...and glad you are at a weight you like.
