Went for DS woke up with a Sleeve

I have not been on here for a while, but I saw your post, and I JUST HAD TO COMMENT.  I initially did not OPT to have the Sleeve either, my 1st choice was the Lap-band (I'm sooooo glad I did NOT go that route ). My SLEEVE fits me perfect... nothing makes me sick, nothing gets stuck, and I feel exactly the same way I did before surgery, although less of me, with more energy.  My last minute choice for the SLEEVE was the best decision I could have made for myself.  I love it, and I think you will too... BUT, If not... there's always an attempt to have the 2nd procedure which will be the DS later on. Congrats so far.

WOW - what an ordeal, but I too am glad the surgeon opted on the safe side.  You have such a good attitude about it, even though its not what you went in for.
