Muscle Cramps - Fiber Issues

If your muscles are cramping "just because" then that is often a sign of low potasium and/or magnesium.

But when they cramp during exercise, and you aren't doing something to make your electrolytes get out of balance, then that's almost always a fitness issue that will go away on its on.

I think it is magnesium oxide that you want. I'm not sure mag citrate comes in anything but l;iquid. Mag citrate is the pooping one.

As to the Miralax,it is also natural. I can't take nay fiber products because they bulk my stool up TOO much and it is like trying to pass a baseball thru a keyhole! GAH!

Be very careful with the fiber and go very slowly.

ETA the usual dose of magnesium is 250-500 mg once or twice a day. I have to take 500 mg twice a day and that barely gets me in the low normal on my labs.

As per Vitalady, "magnesium oxide in dry form helps you poop, magnesium citrate in dry form helps with leg cramps and calcium absorption". You're right the liquid mag citrate is bowel prep, that's not the one for leg cramps.

hmmm, wonder what is the difference in liquid and dry mag citrate that makes them do different  things and not the same things?

oxide to poop, dose is personalized TO YOU

mag citrate (pills, not the bowel prep), dose is personalized TO YOU

You cannot OD on magnesium. It's a cup we can never fill
