Spicy BBQ Protein Shake X Post
If you have read any of my posts in the past you may have figured out that I am not the most observant person around. I tend to kind of space out and do things automatically, without giving things a lot of thought. Which is the reason I have dumped not once but twice because I accidentally picked up the non sugar free version of a product I was buying.
So this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
I made my afternoon shake today as usual and took a drink and it tasted kind of, well, spicy. It wasn't terrible or anything, just kind of had a kick. I thought maybe I was imagining things and took another drink and kind of felt a burning at the back of my throat. At this point I started to review what I had put in the shake. Protein powder, check. milk, check, marshmallow flavoring, check, sugar free chocolate syrup, uh, couldn't be sure so I looked in the fridge and in the place I had returned the chocolate syrup was a bottle of spicy BBQ sauce. The bottles were similar and I grabbed the wrong one.
I actually gave a little thought about finishing the shake since I hate to waste things but of course it went down the sink and I remade my shake with the right ingredients. Much better.
I know new people are told to suck it up and get their protein shakes down but that was a lot to ask even for me.

I have heard of chili and chocolate but not BBQ.
I think mine would have gone down the drain too and I'm like Mikie, I'll eat anything.

this is sort of how I learned that McCormick making Worchestershire pepper and Pumpkin Pie Spice and them being in the same looking containers might be okay in my mexican mash - making it punkin pie-y, but pumpkin cubes in a cake batter protein shake with a heavy dose of worchestershire pepper.. not quite as okay.
Enter sharpie for making an obvious sign to me on the top of the container. :}
