Swinging lizards is our non-religious way of sending up prayers, wishing someone good luck and sending healing thoughts. The DS board found out the hard way that not everyone is Christian, Jewish or practicing anything and happy that way. So they agreed to "swing chickens" as an all encompassing way to wish folks well and let them know they were being thought of. Swinging lizards is particularly a LW board thing because SusyWong was out of chicken the day she wanted to swing for one of us, so she decided to swing the lizards crawling up her patio wall. It stuck! lol
