Kelly, I hope your surgery went well...my back surgery was in Mar 2006, they fused L4, L5, & S1. While I hated the surgery, I did feel it was successful as it gave me the feelings back in my legs. I was losing the feeling pre-surgery.

Yeah, and as dh said, those 7 cats were NOT happy to be swung!

Thank you all! I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days, which stunk, but my body wasn't reacting as it was supposed to. The pain in my legs is almost gone. They said because the nerves aren't being cut  off anymore, they could hurt off and on for a while. The pain is pretty bad, but not as bad as the RNY, honestly. I'm home today and can't wait to heal up. I feel like I will finally be able to start my new life with nothing to hold me back anymore.

And I can imagine those cats not liking being swung. I have three and they would pretty much hate me. :) Thank you all!

I keep falling asleep in random places, but I'm thinking it was cuz I didn't sleep at all while I was in the hospital.

Take care!

You're home already?! Wow! I think I was still pushing a chair around the halls at Walter Reed at this point. You rock! Hang tough and take it easy.

Oh wow, that was quick...I didn't get out of the hospital for almost 5 days and then had to go to a rehab center for another week before they let me go home.

Glad you are doing so well...now take it easy and don't push yourself.
