Good Morning. 16-Bean Soup Simmering
I love the way the kids have raised my grand baby. She ate the soup and loved it. She's 2 years old.

Gina,
Living in Southern California I do not prepare for the winter months. I look forward to some brisk air. The only snow I see is on the mountain tops around me. I love the views after a new snow.
I've never heard of a 15 bean soup. Care to share your recipe with me? Or any other soups that you like to freeze for the winter. I'm in the mood to cook.
I've been cooking up a storm too - never thought it was a hormone thing. I keep fixing my favorite foods that I can't eat because I want my husband to enjoy them. LOL
This past weekend I made Baby Back Ribs, then Chicken and Dumplings and today a Beef Stew. I pureed some stew and ate about 1/4 cup for my dinner - it was delicious if I do say so myself. I'm using the leftovers from the Chicken & Dumplings (removing the dumplings) adding vegetables and diced potatoes and make a Chicken Pot Pie tomorrow night. He's gonna love it!
Glad to know someone else is in a cookin' mood.
Elizabeth

I had bean soup for dinner last night. DH has banned bean soup from our house for posterity. It gave me such horrendous flatulence that he had to sleep in the guest room last night. Fortunately, I slept through it! This was our first experience with post-op noxious gas.
I'm still laughing. DH not so much.

lol I guess we were lucky but I don't know if the baby and Son#1 fared as well. I'll have to remember to ask DIL.
