How come I don't know this?

My group was very up-front about it.  And I'm glad.  I really wish I hadn't had a malabsorptive surgery anyway but it was that or the band that my insurance would pay for.  I am happy now and as the old lady of the group, I have less time before I pass to the next world to malabsorb and get into trouble.  I don't mind taking my vits and mins and am good about it, just always wonder what I am missing that doesn't get tested or not tested often enough.
