Need to gain 12 lbs to qualify for revision!

I'm a bit confounded as i was an insurance pay and had trouble with my band had it removed at a BMI of 30 and had the revision all paid for.  The idea that a self pay cannot get what they want with your overlying issues is beyond me.  I think you go back to your Dr and tell him you don't want to lose weight or have your surgery at another hospital.  Something seems off. I will also say in the effort of full disclosure that i had no restriction in my band for 4 months before surgery and i gained 30lbs of my weight back.  It has not been such a walk in the park to lose it.  I thought it would be a no brainer.  I was wrong.
