WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
 
Happy Monday!!!    6 teams..6 firsts..2 our of 3 division championships and 1 paid bid to US finals!!   DD goes for her more advanced sonar this morning.  Other than the bright spot in babies heart there aren't any other signs of down synd. but they want to be sure so they can be prepaed.

My eating plan kindof of fell apart at the comp. yesterday.  I stupidly packed one of of protein containers and forgot to fill it...how dumb was that????  I still got in 3 but 4 is always the plan.  It will take a few comps. to get me back in the groove.  Also ate a few hard pretzel nuggets but avoided the nachos.  DH ate my jerky.  Did a lot of steps running DGD to bathroom.

Hi Roz!!! Sounds like an exciting competition!!! I made eggface's turtle protein dip for apples this weekend and it was fabulous!!!

Mix:
6 oz fate Greek yogurt
1 scoop chic protein
2T smucker's s/f caramel syrup
Top w toasted pecans ( didn't have any ... Still tasty!!!)

B. 1.5 scoops fuzzy naval
S. yogurt
L. 1 deviled egg
S. 1.5 fuzzy naval
D. 1/2 c carnitas ( in crockpot now -- best part DH fixed it!!)
S. 1 c milk

122 g Protein (may not get all the dinner in ... My eyes are pretty big)
35 g carbs

The dip sound wonderful!   What flavor Protein did you use?

I think my eyes are still as big as before WLS....so glad my pouch isn't but do I waste money when we eat out.

Hi everyone!  Roz, best of luck to your DD today.

I started grazing on those fun size candies for Halloween this weekend.  I quickly went and bought goodie bags and filled them and twist tied them, and put them out of sight.  That will hopefully keep me out of them until they are handed out.  Once I get the taste I want more... not good, need to get control and not touch them at all.  After Halloween what do you guys do with your kids candy?  How long do you let them stay in the house?  I have a hard time throwing out food, but it's not real food, I should just get over it.
