I'm all for the dark meat!!  I wish my family liked all dark but I think I'm the only one. I was panicking about the stuffing because I just recently found out the Kelloggs doesn't make the one I use any more.  I've been buying different brands the last couple of weeks and trying them to find one I think they will like and I'm hoping I picked out the winner.

Good Menu!

Working out all the bugs from my current illness and found it was like a mini 5 DPT, lost some weight too and waiting till Sunday to see if it was for real.

B- 1 scoop protein coffee 25
L- handful of grapes
D- 3 bites chicken, few lima beans, 1/4 cup chili..

I know not great but Im am working on it.

Military wives are a special breed of women...thank you!!   I don't think I could live that life.  My DD has friends all over the US.  Have you lived on a lot of different bases?  I think Holidays would be so hard.

I hope you are starting to feel better.  You still aren't eating much.

Got a package at the door and thought it was some of the things I ordered for Christmas, until I tried to lift it and it wasn't possible.  My 50 lbs of whey isolate arrived!  Fortunately it was in two 25 lbs bags.  Opened one and stored the other one.  I am in protein heaven!
Going to my son and DIL's house for Thanksgiving.  I am looking for a good side dish and dessert recipe to bring that I can eat and others will enjoy.  I may buy a sugar free, gluten free cheesecake I found at a sugar free bakery I found.  $20 is kind of spendy so I am going to see if I can make something similar that costs less.
Another crazy day.  Slept late again and got busy and breezed right past lunch so I have been playing catch up.
B protein decaf coffee, oatmeal with milk and butter, banana
S Atkins Smore's protein bar
L missed
D I made Nik's taco casserole.  Yum!  I froze (and labeled) the rest to add to my collection of frozen meals.
S sugar free fudgecicle
S protein hot salted caramel cocoa
S protein eggnog
S Live Active sugar free pudding
S cashew butter, homemade with flax seeds

Got my calorie count past 1850 so not bad even though I missed lunch.

I've never heard of 25 lbs. of protein....LOL   Where do you order ones that big?

What is hot salted caramel cocoa?  salt and cocoa don't seem to go together.

I buy my unflavored whey isolate protein from http://www.americanpurewhey.com/whey-isolate-01.html
They have great deals and I wrote to them and asked if I could get a deal on their 50 lbs.  The guy was very nice when I explained my situation about needing to put on weight and needing extra protein and he sold me 50 lbs for $200 including shipping.  It is great protein and mixes well and works good in cooking, too.  It is the only kind I have found that I can make my protein oatmeal with.  The flavors are great, too.  I love the cake batter flavor the best but I decided on unflavored because with that amount I could flavor it any way I want and also add to my cooking.  I previously bought 20 lbs and used it up within 3 months, probably closer to 2 months.  I figure 50 lbs should last me around 6 months.  They will also send you samples.  I paid $5.99 for 10 envelopes.  You have to send them an email, I don't think it's on their website.  If you like it they have discount codes every month to save even more money.
The hot salted caramel cocoa is from Bariatric Foodies.  http://bariatricfoodie.blogspot.com/2010/10/salted-caramel-p rotein-hot-chocolate.html
It is yummy and my evening treat.  Salt and caramel go great together!
