I am still feeling good. I guess my surgeon did the leak test while I was opened up still.

Had some issues with one of my incisions when I went to the bathroom last night. It kept bleeding. They had to clean me up 3 different times, but did not have significant loss. I finally got to walk today and will walk again in a couple minutes.

I am really surprised how well things are going but have made sure I have kept a positive attitude throughout this journey.

Thanks again for all the support, it is greatly appreciated.

Glad you are doing so well...welcome to the loser's bench.

I know my husband's surgeon did the leak test the following day so he couldn't eat til it was done. However, my surgeon did it while I was still under so I was "done" when I came out of recovery and was allowed liquids as soon as I could tolerate them and not strangle myself, :)
