Going to Dubai

Wow Dubai!!  How exciting!  I know that $300 meal must sound good to you but I am so frugal I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a meal.  LOL  Especially if I couldn't eat much of it.  If you can afford it however, by all means go and enjoy yourself just for the experience.  Have fun!

You know, they are very accomodating in Dubai and they take care of the visitors well. I would make the reservation and I would explain to them that you have had surgery and cannot eat more than X, but you would like to go for the experience - visual and gastronomical, but on a lesser scale, and see what they propose. I would be surprised if they don't host you for free or for a symbolic price for your 4 oz. while your hubby enjoys the full monty... You can take lots of beautiful photos of the buffet.
