OT Prayers, Swinging Critters, Whatever You Got
Overall, I'm doing very well.
All my drains and sutures have been removed. My wounds are healing nicely. My skin around the wounds is changing color everyday. I knew I had some bruising, but there are some deep bruises I hadn't seen until they started changing color with healing. The color changes are a good sign of healing.
I'm struggling with the pain. It is not sharp, but sore, pulling, and aching. It is hard to describe. My perocet cuts right through it, but I hate taking narcotics. They make me loopy in the head. Tylenol doesn't touch the pain. I'm really missing NSAIDs.
I'm used to bouncing back very quickly. I'm bouncing back normally. This recovery is much harder than my RNY or childbirths.
Enough griping ... I'm doing just fine!
