Quick update

I tried to go to work today.  After one hour I was so sick I ended up back in the ER.   My lab work from my PCP yesterday was all over the place.  They said I had metabolic acidosis, but they repeated the labs and they were a little better.  I received 2 L of fluid and some more Zofran.  They called my surgeon and he is doing an endoscopy first thing in the morning.  At this point, I'm hoping for a stricture.  If its normal I don't know what I'll do.  I can't eat and can barely drink fluids.  I'm pretty miserable.

Strictures happen quite often and usually easily fixed. I'm glad your PCP and surgeon are working together and I hope you feel better soon.

I bet it is  stricture...the good thing is, if it is, you will be feeling better very, very soon.

Sending healing thoughts and I am so glad the endo is tomorrow!

Sending as much positive energy your way as I can. As others have said strictures can be easily fixed and you will feel amazing afterwards ( I am sticking to the thought that. It's a stricture and not anything else)
