Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

I went shopping yesterday and I bought more sweaters off of the sale rack for $9.99 each than I bought summer clothes...LOL It takes me awhile to find summer clothes that fit good. All of the capris are so long on me and the shorts have to be a certain length to cover up all of the loose skin and not look like that are super short capris.

They started clearing the property for DD's house yesterday. I guess it is a reality that DD and family are going to be moving out in the fall. DH and I are going to have to get reaquainted as a couple. DGSons fill that space now.

I've been on Maintenance 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

Lunch: 1/2 can of Campbell's Vegetable Soup

Dinner: Roast and 1/2 cup noodles

Snack: 100 Calorie Popcorn (Always list this but don't always have)

Hi Roz!! You'll hv to get used to quiet again!!! Hope they are close by and will be able to visit often. I'm fighting a wicked sinus infection and food does not sound good at all so I'm not sure if I'll drink dinner tonight or what -- love protein drinks for that!!!!

They are less than 10 minutes away.  I work during the day and DD works at night so I won't get to see her much which really makes me sad.  SIL has promised to come for dinner and bring the boys a couple nights of week.

Sinus infections are horrible.  I hope you start feeling better!

i agree, Roz. Some capris are the right lenght for pants for me. I have to look hard for ones that come to the bottom of my knee only and I give up on shorts except for at the farm. I live in 3/4 lenght sleeves most of the summer although on rare occasion I can find something elbow lenght.

I am so pleased. At the pool today I decided to try some laps instead of just working out in the therapy pool. I made it for 4 laps which doesn't sound like much but felt like 10 miles. Then I did the rest of my workout in the therapy pool. I am thrilled. I really want to feel strong again and I think I am finally on my way.

I'm back to measureing my food again as of today. I think my amounts must have been creeping up and must be contributing to my scale creeping up.

It makes me smile to hear encouragment in your posting!  I'm so glad things are better for you!

It doesn't take much for the scales to creep up so I think it's good you are getting it under control!!

I am 5'2" and capris are really long on me too.  I tried petites, but they are too short.  Dang, can't win for losing.

Actually, I think some of the petites are longer than the regular or shorts in pants at least.  Seems very crazy.

I honestly thought as you got thinner and into smaller sizes that the lengths would be shorter too....Not so!

It's funny when I was a size 22/24, petites were the right length. Now that I am a 6, the length is too long, what gives? But I'll take that and spend more money on alterations any day!
