Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Day 2 of my 3 day week....YEAH!  They got the outside walls up on my DD's house.  The contractor said when we get back from vacation the shingles should be on.  We are so excited for her!

I've been on Maintenance for 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

Hi Roz!  Afternoon of meetings and I have my guys jumping through hoops since the Gov't guy decided to "just show up" today.  He seems to think we don't have anything else to do....  I had to talk him out of firing one of my guys yesterday.  The guy will be let go eventually, but I've convinced him to let him finish the project out.  Doesn't help we're already short handed. 

B - coffee
S - greek yogurt w/NSA cherry pie filling sprinkled with crushed graham cracker crumbs (forgot the FF Cheesecake pudding - still tasted good)
L - ham sandwich with lite Miracle Whip on wheat bread
D - probably leftover chicken wings

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost

That's great you saved his job for a little while.  They just left 3 people go at my SIL's company and they just started building their house.  If he loses his job I don't know what they will do. His boss says he is safe and I sure hope she is telling him the truth.

I don't like yogurt so I think it would be really sour without the pudding.  Have you tried the microwave cheesecake?  It's pretty good and it has a little bit of substance to it so it fills you faster than the one you made.  It does take longer to make though.

Good Menu....it looks like you are getting things under control!

Got up and had to be out the door early to an appt with an endocrinologist, took 4 months to get this appointment. I have thyroid cyst/'s. Have a sonogram scheduled for Friday. I'm having a stupid day.  Not eating properly and not getting in the protein. 


Early AM: Coffee with FF 1/2-1/2 2 TB

My Mom got her one of her thyroids removed about a year ago and she did wonderful.  I hope everything turns out ok for you!

I hope you get your Protein drinks in.

Busy day @ work :(  Soccor with the kids, but the crock pot is @ home cooking for me :)
B-vanilla unjury protein shake with silk light and SF choc syrup 
S-greek yogurt
L-ham and cheese roll up
S-caramel rice cakes
D-chicken breast with hidden valley ranch mix and red's hot sauce in crock pot, a few carrots and peas
S-protein bar or shake?

I made a roast in the crock pot yesterday and it was so nice to go home and everything was cooked.  The house smelled wonderful!

Hi Roz and everyone!

That's exciting for your DD and their new house!

Busy day - finally at home after being on the run last few days. I weighed in at WW today and was up 0.6#. Ugh. Still at my fantasy of 135 though. I think eating on the run the last few days haven't helped.

I go to surgeon's office tomorrow. I will see the PA. I am excited though as I will be down to the goal weight I stated when I first went there last year. I am down about 12.7# from last time I was there. Weight does come off slower, but I am also eating more than I was early out too (don't think I could live on 600-800 calories forever).

Here's today's menu:

B: Smoothie (Jay protein powder, milk & strawberries)
L: Bacon, egg and low carb toast
D: Not sure as I will be gone from 5-9pm???
S: FF milk
S: probably syntax tea
S: ????

Also, when I go to Dr's tomorrow, they probably are not going to be happy that I am still drinking protein drinks. They told me last time (at 6+ months out) that I need to be getting all protein from meals (and we are to eat 3 meals per day - no snacks!), and the NUT about fainted when I said I was going to Weigh****chers! Maybe they will just be happy that you are still losing......

It is strange how every Surgeon and PA has different ideas.  Mine is happy that I'm using Protein drinks and eating small meals/snacks every few hours. Even Dr. OZ says that eating 6 small meals is better than 3 big ones.

Hi Roz!!!!! Got my roast in the crockpot today with two bags of carrots and a bunch of celery -- my little girl will eat half a bag herself -- loves veggies --but no potatoes.
