 Wow congrats on your weight loss! I just had a breast reduction & lipo and extended tummy tuck. I'm happy to answer specific questions but in general...

1. Up your protein a few days before & after to help healing
2. Consider taking a stool softener before and after if you don't already
3. Follow your doctor's orders & don't try to do more than you should like housework, etc.
4. Take your pain pills as prescribed strictly for at least the first 48 hrs to try to "stay ahead of the pain"

ETA: My BR was a breeze and only have experienced a little itchiness. If I tough certain spots, it's sore, but otherwise fine. I had a drain in each breast and it was a little sore where they were attached but not a big deal. It did hurt when they got pulled out but just for a few moments.

Congratulations Jane!  how exciting.

Like it was already advised - stay ahead of the pain.  I had a kitchen timer I would set at night to wake me up to take my pain meds - did this for the 3 days or so - its so much easier getting up in the morning without the stress of worn off meds.

But - my "girls" were easier than my TT - I didn't have my arms done so can't advise there.

I spent a LOT of time on the PS board.  Highly recommend you go there!
