While it's hot as blazes here, we do have power. But about 1/4th of the people served by our power company lost theirs in Thursday's storm that killed 2 people in the Cades Cove area of Smoky Mtn National Park. www.knoxnews.com/news/2012/jul/07/storms-toll-two-dead-more- hurt/
We had the power flicker here at the house and ended up with lots of limb debris but considering how surrounded we are by trees, we did pretty good.
Be careful out there Nikki...that's HOT work and you can easily get dehydrated.
