Angel, good going. Adding more protein seems to help most of us.

I am late again with my weigh in. Why? I am getting discouraged. I did lose weight as I weighed in at 149.8. I lost 2 ounces but you know as soon as I eat/drink something that will be gone. I know its just a stall and things will get better but I'm still getting frustrated.

Fran, stalls are normal and yes, very frustrating.

Add protein, cut carbs and hang in there. My major stall lasted from Sept last year to Feb of this one before dropping again.

You know Liz I keep telling myself over and over that it will start back up but I keep feeling defeated. It's a mind thing.(:

Of course it's a mind thing...but then we've a history of losing and then gaining all plus more back or would not have ended up morbidly obese to begin with. Losing and the stopping/regaining is a normal for us.

What isn't normal is losing and staying down...even if maint is a WITCH.

8/27/12 166 a day late , I was on vacation.
Kinda slow , but Atleast it's going down . Trying to stay positive. I guess before WLS when I'd lose weight it was a pound or two a week also . Atleast I don't feel like I'm starving .

Nikki, you are doing good...we tend to slow down after the first month...

I dropped 23 lbs first month and only 11 the second month, then it's typically been 5 a month until I got to Sept when I stalled til Feb before dropping another 5.
