You Guys Are Totally Not Gonna Believe This

I was thinking about revising as well until recently . When I got really busy I noticed that my weight essentially stays the same which is a blessing. I am not entirely satisfied with where its at or the size I " landed " at but I have to wonder if its a plastic surgery type empty fat cell removal problem rather than a metabolism related one that warrants considering another type of bariatric surgery.
If my weight kept creeping up uncontrollably of course that would change things .
I am glad you found something that works for you - personally I doubt I could live without dairy unless I absolutely had to .
it was harder to give up the dairy than I thought it would be,but seeing the scale going down .5 # a day,is more than enough compensation for not having the dairy.
I maintained for the last year, staying on plan, including dairy. I think once I have lost all my weight,I can realistically add dairy back in and still maintain just fine.
I am totally thrilled that I found out about the dairy, cause, truthfully,NOTHING else was working at all.
I bought the book several months ago after seeing others on the RNY board talk about it. I haven't started reading it yet, just a few pages. After reading your post, I'm going to have to sit down and do that.
Your comment is very interesting about the dairy. I eat lots of yogurt & dairy produts. At times it seems my weight is stuck and won't budge no matter. Then I go through periods where I am allowing too much food off plan, which means I'm eating less yogurt and dairy, and the scale dropes unexpectedly. That happened last week during the election. I was not eating like I should, more stress eating which meant I did not eat as much dairy. When I weighed, I was down.
What is the deal about dairy.
I used to eat a lot of cheese, cottage cheese, butter, hard cheeses, etc, also. I am not sure what it is about the dairy, but I wonder if it is the carbs in it. I am very sensitive to carbs.
Check out the blog at WWW.wheatbellyblog.com. the article is one of the most recent ones and titled something like what if you don't lose on the wheat belly diet.
it is interesting that you lose when you are not eating dairy. bet it is the dairy for you too.
