Good Morning. It hit me

I figured you might be out of town. Glad you got to see your dad.  You know what kind of shopping I mean...the kind where you run your cart over the gal in front of you so you can get to the X-box first.

And that one I do NOT do. I have refused to be a part of Black Friday for almost as long as it's been called "Black Friday"...

NOTHING out there is worth the headaches to me.

Absolutely!

Last year my husband told me about  the joys of " Black Friday " ( which I'd never heard  of or considered attending ever before - I don****ch much TV ....)  ..after many stories of great buys by he and his son ( turns out they stood in line starting at 4 AM the PREVIOUS DAY  lol !!!   .

Out of curiosity at this marvel of  American habits ... and trying  to fit in maritally ... I agreed to stand on ( an an absurdly long ) line after our Friday evening meal .  Do I need to TELL you that we got ABSOLUTELY NOTHING  because all the  ( strictly limited number) advertised " bargains " were taken  by previous 4 am in the line camping -out - line standers lol ?

Of course they were hardly REAL bargains ... usually shoddy stuff that breaks  ridiculously fast ... stuff  you can buy at far better prices at your leisure all year round at your local bargain /showroom  outlet .or off craigslist or ebay anytime if you decide you absolutely cant live without it ..and its mostly stuff people dont really NEED  lol ... 

   Personally  I love a simplified , easy - to -keep clean  creativity  generating environment .  I kinda detest  even MORE electronic noise and the stoopid appliances that  furnish  it ... i am SO NOT a shopper lol...

and 

yes I HATE the holidays ..when all anyone talks about  is I WANT THIS ...   like its  really gonna make a difference in their level of happiness lol
